Climate change is making our foliage unusually large and also sinister.
The dog knows what’s up — animals always do. They’re so intuitive.

Maybe this was drawn by a leaf! Like, we are the eyes of the leaf, looking out as it drifts down next to its buddy.
We see the ground come into focus and realize it was never about us after all. We are all destined to become a prop in someone else’s seasonal tale involving plaid flannel, hot cider and a rake.
Either way, it’s nicer for everybody to use a rake instead of a leaf blower. Especially the leaf.
